Gallery Room one for artist Fred Wilder
The Sculpture titled The Edison Poem
Created by artist Fred Wilder as a visual representation of his poem about the Wizard of Menlo park. Thomas Alva Edison the inventor of the Electric Light Bulb that brought light and iluminated our nights with electricity so that our vampireck and sordid ways would be safe from those that would hunt and destroy us before we had supped upon the blood of the still living and then crept off to have a few winks in our cozy coffins.
It was vastly more conveniant to best those that would hunt us for sport now that we could perceive them even in the nocturnal hours. At last that is what I have heard the artist known as Fred Wilder statting on many an ocasion; Twas a Vampire invasion across our nation

The Edison Poem, by Fred Wilder (c) 2011
The orange glow of a wire bent,
Trapped in a bottle, glass void the atmosphere Extinguish the dark day spent.
Creatures of the night have we all become.
Electric light is the spell brung. The Wizard of Menlo park released the nocturnal yearnings of the species Human. Once bound in chains forged in
superstition of a setting sun, now freed by the amber flow Edison's magic bottles delivered us one by one....
